Job Description:

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST over a Data Integrity and Pay Resolution Team in the TALENT ACQUISITION & STAFFING EAST DIRECTORATE of OFFICE OF CIVILIAN HUMAN RESOURCES OPERATIONS.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing, interpreting and applying staffing and compensation laws, regulations, and policy to resolve complex staffing, compensation, or pay issues; and providing technical guidance and advisory services on the processing of personal actions and reconciling complex pay problems, to improve the efficiency, accuracy and quality of program operations in Human Resources (HR) information systems (e.g., DCPDS, DCPS, Remedy). You will lead and manage a team of Human Resources (HR) specialists and assistants in the timely and accurate resolution of complex pay issues and maintenance of data integrity within DCPDS, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
You will serve as the senior technical expert and point of contact for the Talent Acquisition and Staffing Department on complex pay entitlements providing guidance, training, and problem-solving solutions.
You will oversee and conduct rigorous quality control reviews of actions and data entries in Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS), initiate corrective actions, and ensure data accuracy to meet audit readiness standards
You will lead quarterly payroll reconciliation process, serving as the primary liaison with payroll offices Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), and ensuring timely and accurate completion to maintain financial integrity.
You will conduct in-depth analyses of HR processes, identifies areas for improvement, recommends and implements corrective actions, and develops training programs to enhance the team's technical proficiency and compliance.
You will supervise and mentor HR staff, providing guidance on complex pay issues, ensuring workload is appropriately distributed, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering professional development.
You will prepare reports, conduct policy and process reviews, and supports internal and external audits providing requested documentation and data, responding to inquiries, and implementing corrective actions as required.
