This vacancy is for a GS-0301-9, Administrative Assistant, GS-0301-09 located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, EXECUTIVE SUPPORT STAFF -CG-6E in WASHINGTON, District of Columbia.
To qualify at the GS-09 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular and recurring basis. Perform a variety of administrative duties for an organization which flows internally and externally that can be applied to a business Executive (i.e., task management, file management, calendar management, scheduling, travel planning & logistics); Utilize office automation systems to maintain records, generate reports, and/or prepare correspondence; and managing personnel actions; and Serve as office coordinator, effectively communicating procedural processes, organizing office functions, oversee administrative tasks in support of the office/organization's objectives. You will serve as an Administrative Assistant, GS-0301-09 and office manager with exclusive control over administrative processes and procedures necessary for compliance and strategic objective achievements. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Perform a variety of administrative duties for an organization which flows internally and externally that can be applied to a business Executive (i.e., task management, file management, calendar management, scheduling, travel planning & logistics). Utilize office automation systems to maintain records, generate reports, and/or prepare correspondence; and managing personnel actions. Serve as office coordinator, effectively communicating procedural processes, organizing office functions, oversee administrative tasks in support of the office/organization's objectives.
