This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Planning, organizing, and directing production programs, projects, and operations; 2) Strategic and long-range planning on all phases of production management operations; 3) Developing annual and long range budget utilizing knowledge of working capital funds; and 4) Monitoring mission performance by tracking man-hours, labor hour execution, production cost, and budgetary compliance. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
Analyze trends of production management.
Plan overall work operations, set priorities, and establish objectives.
Plan, organize, and direct production programs, projects, and operations.
Develop annual multi-million dollar operating budget and management of monetary resources.
Perform strategic and long-term planning on all phases of production management operations.
Manage the accomplishments and sustainment of LEAN/SIX Sigma function within the production management operations.
