You are:
As a SAP Basis Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the SAP landscape, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security of SAP systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise in SAP Basis administration, proactive problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP System Administration: Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems, including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, and other SAP modules.
Manage SAP system upgrades, patches, and kernel updates. Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of SAP applications.
Database Management: Administer databases supporting SAP systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, HANA).
Perform database backups, restores, and optimization tasks. Ensure database security and integrity.
User and Role Management: Manage user accounts, roles, and authorizations within SAP systems.
Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve SAP system issues, including performance bottlenecks, connectivity problems, and application errors.
Provide technical support to end-users and stakeholders. System Monitoring and Reporting: Utilize monitoring tools to track system health and performance (e.g., Solution Manager).
Generate reports on system usage, performance metrics, and incidents.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with functional teams, developers, and infrastructure teams to support business requirements.
Communicate technical solutions and updates to stakeholders effectively.
Documentation and Best Practices: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Develop and implement best practices for SAP Basis administration.
Applicant will have access to export-controlled material and must be a US person defined as a US citizen, US permanent resident, or has achieved refugee status or been granted asylum in the US.

This is a hybrid role in either Cincinnati, OH or Tampa, FL and will require three days per week in the office.
