You will serve as a MANAGER in the Sensor Integration & Technology Department (LX), Electro-Optics Technology Division (LXN), Expeditionary Hardware Test & Evaluation Branch (LXNS) OR Fleet Modernization & Support Branch (LXNV) OR Legacy Airborne Sensor Systems Branch (LXNL) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer or scientist, leading the planning and execution of technical project resource requirements to develop, plan, and execute project milestones and deliverables for improved efficiency and execution of program operations. You will serve as the branch manager for one of the following branches: Legacy Airborne Sensor Systems, Expeditionary Hardware Test and Evaluation, OR Fleet Modernization and Support within the Electro-Optics Technology Division.
You will be responsible for the development of the workforce, effective execution of workload consistent with organizational initiatives and objectives, and for providing outstanding support and service to assigned customers.
You will plan, distribute, coordinate, and monitor work assignments of subordinates; evaluates work performance and provides feedback on their performance.
You will further organizational goals and agency programs and initiatives by coordinating and integrating work that involves distinct areas of responsibility and that requires varying skills, knowledge, and abilities to execute the mission.
You will formulate objectives and priorities and implement plans consistent with long-term interests of the organization in a global environment that takes into consideration resources, constraints, and organizational goals and values.
