About the Position: Serves as technical expert in all facets of the U.S. Army Pacific, Army Training Land Retention (ATLR) acquisition and disposal efforts. Current Department of Army Civilian Employees Applying on Time-Limited Assignments In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) executing real estate acquisitions and disposals; 2) preparing budget data and exercise of cost control functions; and 3) assisting in program reviews for effectiveness and accomplishments. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
Serves as real estate and real property acquisition and disposal subject matter expert, supporting an Army Command.
Provides project management integration, extensive coordination, and evaluation of Army Training Land Retention (ATLR) realty and real property actions across teams in various offices.
Disposes real estate interests acquired in fee, by permits, licenses, leases, and easements which have been declared as excess by Department of the Army.
Plans, budgets, obtains funding, monitors expenditures, and assures completion of realty actions for assigned programs.
Reviews realty and real estate utilization accomplishments of the ATLR program for technical adequacy, consistence, and compliance with policies procedures, directives, etc.
