About the Position: This position will serve as a Deputy to the Brigade Commander (Field Artillery) with 428th FA Bde, Fires Center of Excellence (FCoE) located at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes the following: Demonstrated experience using a high degree of knowledge of Field Artillery (FA) education programs, doctrine, and quality assurance; Possess a high degree of analytical ability; Use a comprehensive knowledge of a systematic internal evaluation of commandant training programs; Perform supervisory duties and resolve military and civilian personnel management matters. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13 or above). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
Responsible for all Field Artillery training consisting of the training of Soldiers, Marines, Civilians, Allied students and field artillery leaders in enlisted Military Occupational Specialties (MOSs) and Officer and Warrant Officer specialties.
Responsible to the Commander for all the command, control, administration, security, and logistical support to the Field Artillery School.
Responsible for the development and execution of an estimated annual budget of $7 million.
Serve as the advisor to the Commander for all Leader Development, Training and Training Support issues.
Performs supervisory duties.
