Job Description:

You will serve as a MANAGER in the Energetics Manufacturing Technology Department (M), Extruded Products & Energetic Devices Division (M1), Linear Products/EED Manufacturing Development Branch (M11) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-14 and GS-15. This position may be eligible for Supervisory Pay Differential of up to four (4) percent.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 (GS-12/13 grade equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional Engineer, leading and managing teams on engineering projects (e.g. Linear Products, Electro-Explosive Devices) to identify and improve resource allocation and strategic planning for the overall success and effectiveness of a program. You will be responsible for the overall technical, administrative, and professional work of Linear Products and Electro-Explosive Devices.
You will be responsible for implementing the activity explosive and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) safety programs by providing explosive safety guidance to employees to ensure the processes are safe and compliant with existing requirements.
You will provide leadership and direction for technical, administrative, and/or professional staff of the Branch.
You will be responsible for meeting financial targets for indirect, direct, and service cost center.
You will be responsible for personnel, program safety, cost, quality, and schedule within the Branch.
