Job Description:

You will serve as a Supply Technician of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR SAN DIEGO.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-06) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: I have one year of Supply Technician specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing technical supply support related duties, data collection and support services to fleet units. Specific knowledge and experience must include performing the following: 1. Applying a thorough working knowledge of governing supply regulations, policies, and instructions applicable to the specific assignment, such as ensuring the proper receipt, storage, transfer, inspection, and handling of materials, hazardous materials, and/or classified materials; 2. Utilizing multiple supply information and business systems such as Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP), Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS), Kuali Financial System (KFS) to enter, extract, correct data, and retrieve standard and specialized reports; 3. Analyzes data to ascertain performance status and adjusts priorities as necessary; 4. Perform quality control investigations and surveys, throughout the various areas of the sites, using a knowledge of functional area work processes; 5. Utilizing a knowledge of and skill in statistical analysis to resolve reports of discrepancies and quantities ordered, or item suitability; and 6. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, hydraulic trucks, and pallet jacks as needed. You will manage government assets to ensure the proper receipt, storage, transfer, inspection and handling of material, hazardous materials, and/or classified materials.
You will analyze and evaluate the supply operation and comply with established standards.
You will periodically check work in progress and completed work to ensure compliance of policies and procedures.
You will provide assistance through oral and written guidance both prior to and during data accumulation.
You will perform a full range of supply related duties.
