Position Summary: The Macro Strategy team delivers thought leadership, actionable insights, macroeconomic trends, and cross-asset themes for Global Markets clients across the Americas (US, Canada, LatAm). We are seeking an experienced Associate with analytical skills and a background in economics and finance to support the Head of Macro Strategy to develop forward-looking views and trade ideas. This role offers hands-on global macro to market experience and the opportunity to contribute to high-impact strategy content within a dynamic and growing Global Markets sales and trading teams. Core Responsibilities Support head of macro strategy with ad-hoc requests and excel charting needs Maintain the monthly macro and markets related PowerPoint presentations Identify and evaluate strategy opportunities in the Global Macro space Help develop market forecasts and co-author written strategy reports Develop relationships with sales and trading to promote strategy content Design tools, tables and charts to manipulate and analyze derived metrics Required Skills Relevant experience in research or a strategy role Strong analytical quant skills and technical writing skills Able to present well and communicate analysis clearly Assist in client request for the Americas sales platform Accomplish ad-hoc and intra-day manager requests Multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Deliver on large multi-functional analytical projects Apply statistical techniques on financial data Exposure and experience in LatAm local markets a plus Knowledge of broad Fixed Income and FX markets a plus Experience with Bloomberg, Power BI and Tableau a plus A degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics and/or Data Science The typical base pay range for this role is between $140K - $170K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
