In addition to the basic education requirement, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Professional engineering experience coordinating engineering activities, providing technical guidance, mentoring engineers, and managing program performance. You will serve as a senior engineering advisor, reviewing progress and developing solutions for technical, schedule, and cost challenges throughout the program lifecycle.
You will develop and maintain system engineering and acquisition documents, ensuring technical rigor in all activities for the assigned program.
You will provide expert guidance on Strategic Systems Programs, maintaining expertise through continuous education and professional development.
You will assess technical maturity and readiness in line with Department of Defense guidelines and performance measurement plans, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
You will contribute technical input to program cost estimates, acquisition plans, risk management, and budget planning, managing financial expenditures to support the program.
