In addition to the basic education requirement, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH-3 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Professional engineering experience managing interdisciplinary engineering work, designing and testing instrumentation systems, overseeing contractors, and providing senior-level technical guidance. You will manage and lead interdisciplinary engineering teams to develop electronic, electrical, and mechanical instrumentation systems, ensuring technical, schedule, and cost objectives are met.
You will oversee and monitor contractor performance, ensuring the quality and acceptability of contracted efforts in support of instrumentation system development and maintenance.
You will prepare and defend program plans, including funding requirements, lifecycle cost profiles, and financial performance for assigned programs.
You will represent the organization in flight test program activities, including planning, coordination, and technical briefings for US and UK flight test programs.
You will provide senior-level technical guidance and recommendations to address complex engineering issues, ensuring reliable solutions and innovations.
