The Housekeeping Aid Leader - Environmental Services Technician is assigned to Environmental Management Service and is responsible for checking on work groups to ensure that instructions are being carried out using proper work methods and ensure established time-frames are being met in a safe and efficient manner.

Incumbent must move, use, and control heavy equipment, carry and set up ladders and scaffolding, and occasionally work from ladders. Frequently lift objects weighing over 40 pounds and occasionally over 50 pounds. Perform minor maintenance on vacuum cleaners, power scrubbers, buffers, and polishers. Clean floors using power scrubbers and buffers; washes walls using powered wall washing machines and vacuums with heavy industrial type vacuum cleaners. Preferred Experience: A housekeeping aid lead needs strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to train and manage a team. They must also be detail oriented, familiar with safety regulations, and posses physical stamina. Familiarity with general cleaning tasks like dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and bathroom cleaning is often expected. Prior cleaning experience 2-3 years and ability to learn quickly. Understanding the proper use and maintenance of cleaning supplies and equipment is essential.
