To qualify for the Supervisory Supply Management Specialist, PG - 2003 - 13 , you must meet the following requirements: To qualify for the supervisory Supply Management Specialist, PG-13, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the PG-12 grade level in the federal service. Specialized experience is defined as duties that include 1) Experience in Leading or supervising employees and establishing productive relationships with direct reports, peers, internal and external customers, and upper management 2) Using modern inventory and distribution systems storage, preservation of supplies, and materials handling equipment 3) Reviewing, analyzing and identifying trends in manufacturing waste and finished goods, as well as, recognizing discrepancies 4) Possessing proficiency with scheduling, metrics, quality assurance, and safety procedures. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement (01/14/2026) to be considered.
Serves as Secure Supply Chain Supervisor under the guidance of the manager, Materials Management and Transportation.
Participates in coordinating and implementing the supply functions of receiving, inspection, storage, and retrieval and distribution operations of both raw materials and finished goods for the Materials Management and Transportation Division.
Directs the continuing analysis of daily operations. Recommends adjustments in manpower, equipment, and facilities, in order to improve service.
Establishes program objectives or performance goals to assess progress towards - tier-SID.
