This is a GG grade 12 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG 12 duties for the Professional work category are at the Full Performance work level and are equivalent to those at the GS 12 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job. ***Salary Ranges includes local market supplement*** DUTIES Serves as security program specialist executing and enforcing compliance with operational, functional, and mission assurance aspects of an integrated information security program. Interprets Air Force (AF), Department of Defense (DoD), and other federal regulations for information security processes as they apply and are implemented within the organization Executes and enforces compliance with the organization personnel security program. Interprets AF, DoD, and national regulations and laws for Personnel Security processes as they apply and are implemented within the organization. Serves as the organization's representative for Industrial Security issues. Maintains an in-depth knowledge of multiple customer missions to facilitate the protection of classified and SCI access as required by contract performance. Administers the Physical Security Program for the organization. Uses comprehensive knowledge of the integrated organization's mission to advise commanders and or involved parties on security facilities/equipment/alarm installation, maintenance, and use. Reviews plans and makes recommendations on operations and maintenance on physical/resources security inputs.
