Picatinny Arsenal Hiring Event: Interviews will be held on site. Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. QUALIFICATION: Six (6) month of laboring experience required. Must be able to work under general supervision, responding to initial oral or written instructions and completing assigned tasks. Experience must be reflected on resume to receive credit. This announcement is in conjunction with the Picatinny Arsenal Job Fair at the Club at Picatinny, 121 Buffington Rd., Dover, NJ 07801 on Thursday, 8 January 2026 from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Applicants participating in the event will receive first consideration. To receive consideration, applicants must attend at the Job Fair between the times of 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. If you are not able to attend the job fair, your application will be reviewed after the event. Applicants will submit their application and resumes which will be immediately reviewed and, if qualified, given to management for an on-the-spot interview. Perform heavy physical labor requiring the frequent lifting and carrying of items and furniture weighing 80 to 100 pounds or more.
Operate heavy powered equipment performing tasks that require prior work experience and training.
Such tasks include ground maintenance on grades and slopes, digging ditches and trenches, washing buildings using high pressure sprayers, operating tillers to prepare lawns for sod and bedding plants, and cutting trees using axes or chain saws.
Performs general maintenance of NAF facilities requiring use of heavy powered equipment and heavy tools.
Performs other duties as assigned.
