Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: *Experience utilizing social sciences as related to integrated prevention programs to evaluate, consult, and advise in a variety of settings toward the prevention of destructive/problematic behaviors to include suicide, sexual harassment/ assault, substance misuse, family/interpersonal/workplace violence. *Experience demonstrating the ability to appropriately identify, implement, and evaluate prevention methodologies. *Experience utilizing communication skills sufficient to plan, organize, and implement prevention activities. *Experience providing prevention training/education to a wide variety of audiences. You will identify efficiencies and make recommendations to streamline the development of and delivery of primary prevention science perspectives in prevention planning.
You will assist with prevention program inspections for Reserve Readiness Command (REDCOM) and ECH V commands to evaluate program effectiveness and compliance with policy requirements.
You will Identify existing or potential risk and protective factors that could lead to problematic/destructive behaviors and recommend preventive measures that the command or unit can take to address risk and protective factors.
You will assist with the development, planning/execution of core functions such as engagement, implementation, evaluation, and integration and uses knowledge of planning, programming, and budgeting to address goals long and short-range program goals.
