Job Description:

You will serve as a MATERIAL EXPEDITER LEADER in the NUCLEAR ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT, NUCLEAR MATERIAL MANAGER, NUCLEAR MATERIAL SUPORT BRANCH of PSNS and IMF.
Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying. Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the job elements and screen out listed below. You will ensure delivery of material to production and kitting centers in accordance with production work schedules.
You will ensure accurate and timely processing of computer transactions for the receipt, inspection, storage, issue, excess and disposal of material via various databases.
You will prepare material requisitions for parts and materials required in support of production shop work requirements based on request of shop supervisors and from examination and evaluation of material coordination lists.
You will plan, schedule, expedite and coordinate receipt, custody, and issue of all materials within one or more work sites and warehouses and develop warehousing plans to accommodate materials received.
