You will serve as a SECURITY GUARD in the Navy Security Forces of NAVSUPPACT PANAMA CITY SEC DET.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: 1) Authenticating identification for access to restricted areas; 2) Regulating pedestrian and vehicular traffic to maintain traffic flow and security operations; 3) Granting or denying personnel access into restricted areas; and 4) Performing private and commercial vehicle inspections and package inspections following prescribed procedures to ensure only authorized property is brought into or removed from facilities. You will check credentials of personnel or vehicles to control access to base posts, buildings, private property, or restricted areas.
You will perform installation access control for pedestrians and vehicles utilizing standard operating procedures, written orders and regulatory requirements as a guide to assess determination for a wide range of unique circumstances.
You will serve as a member of the installation’s overall security response capability during actual or simulated incidents.
You will access a personal identification system to issue vehicle passes and identification badges.
