A qualified candidate must possess the following: experience maintaining, adjusting and repairing a variety of bowling equipment having mechanical, electrical and electronic parts, components and assemblies, AND demonstrated ability to use standard electrical test equipment, such as voltmeters, ohmmeters continuity testers, and test lamp, AND demonstrated ability to do repairs such as soldering loose connections, burnishing contact points, splicing, insulating exposed wires, replacing defective printed circuit boards, AND knowledge of the basics of electrical principals and the operating characteristics of electronic components. Performs comprehensive maintenance, adjustment, and repair on a wide array of bowling equipment that includes mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
Diagnoses the root cause of equipment malfunctions by using technical manuals, schematics, and various test instruments like continuity testers and voltmeters.
Conducts hands-on repairs by disassembling equipment, replacing worn or defective parts, cleaning, lubricating, and reassembling machinery.
Follows a preventive maintenance schedule to ensure equipment reliability and performs repairs on physical infrastructure, including bowling pins and lane surfaces.
Independently assesses mechanical assemblies to determine whether parts can be reworked or require replacement and makes precise adjustments to ensure proper functionality.
