The typical seasonal entry-on-duty period is April to October, but can be variable during these months due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. Perform masonry work such as construct, alter, modify or repair structures such pillars, mortar posts, framework, rafters, joists, insulation, sheet rock, paneling, doors, windows, flooring, and roofing. Perform work on historic and non-historic structures using a full range of power and hand tools. Plan, compute, and lay out projects and identify material needs and produce finished products with precise fits, accurate dimensions, and acceptable appearance. Paint, decorate, and refinish a variety of interior and exterior surfaces of buildings and other facilities in addition to maintain, construct, repair, and alter a variety of masonry structures. Operate a variety of mainteannce vehicles and lift up to 50 pounds.
