Job Description:

You will serve as a Training Specialist in the Center for Service Support (CSS) of NTTC.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Reviewing and revising Navy instructional systems and curricula, with strong knowledge of educational testing and evaluation for Naval technical training; 2) Familiar with Navy policies, organizational structure, and procedures related to training, as well as accreditation requirements like COE; 3) Utilizing training management systems such as CeTARS and collaborating effectively with instructional specialists and other military branches; and 4) Excellent oral and written communication skills enable clear coordination across military and civilian personnel to support command missions and training goals. You will make recommendations concerning the formulation of training policies, guidance and procedures.
You will develop and disseminate training needs and assessment surveys, and compile results for use in scheduling training.
You will prepare training flowcharts, models, graphs, and annual training calendars using various automated systems.
You will maintain student academic records and histories.
You will provide statistics to senior leadership at the command as well as higher level personnel.
You will provide technical expertise in the evaluation, development, and maintenance of instruction programs in support of command standards.
