You qualify for the GS-15 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: Law enforcement policy review, emergent and long-range law enforcement operational planning, collaboration with international, Federal, State, and Local law enforcement communities, and detention standards and oversight. Collection and analysis of operational and actionable intelligence from wide-ranging sources including Federal, State, and local law enforcement agencies, military departments, foreign governments, financial institutions, and technology companies. Development of new approaches in response to identified weaknesses and vulnerabilities of ongoingoperations. Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. As a Special Advisor, you will execute mastery knowledge of, and skill in applying, laws and regulations through extensive years of experience in law enforcement to serve as a national authority and provide expert level analysis and advice on immigration law and policies, highly sensitive investigations, enforcement, and/or compliance work specifically pertaining to ERO operations to leadership across organizational lines in order to facilitate: Law enforcement policy review, emergent and long-range law enforcement operational planning, collaboration with international, Federal, State, and Local law enforcement communities, and detention standards and oversight.
