Job Description:

You will serve as a DEPUTY DIRECTOR in the JOINT INTERMEDIATE FORCE CAPABILITIES OFFICE (JIFCO) of HQ US MARINE CORPS. The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Offers of employment related to this vacancy announcement will not be executed until the position has an approved exemption.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Evaluating activities of a non-lethal weapons program and briefing senior officials on a wide variety of topics related to a non-lethal weapons program. You will direct, coordinate and provide executive leadership through the Division Chiefs and their staff's, workgroup leaders and committee chairs.
You will develop and recommend budgetary requirements, taking into consideration current and anticipated program requirements, equipment, personnel, and strategic plans.
You will develop and present command level briefings and develop positive relationships with external stakeholders.
You will review and appraise project operations on a continuous basis through spot-check of work in progress, review of completed work and results obtained to assure maximum efficiency, economy, and effectiveness.
You will stay abreast of progress on assignments and provides guidance on any phase of the activity, as required, to assure maximum mission attainment.
