Job Description:
You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst of NAVY MUNITIONS COMMAND, CONUS WEST DIV.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing financial management and administrative functions to support budget execution, travel, supply requisitioning, and property accountability. You will provide integrated financial, travel, logistics, and property management support to ensure effective execution of command resources, compliance with DoD and Navy regulations, and sustained mission readiness.
You will serve as a Travel Authorizing Official (AO), reviewing and approving travel authorizations and vouchers in compliance with the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) and NMCPAC CWD policy.
You will provide guidance to travelers on travel entitlements, funding availability, and required documentation.
You will perform Property Specialist duties, maintaining accountability and oversight of government property and general equipment.
You will conduct property record reviews, reconciliations, inventories, transfers, and disposals to ensure audit readiness and data accuracy.
You will utilize Navy ERP to process and monitor financial transactions, including commitments, obligations, and expenditures.
You will assist in preparing, reviewing, and executing funding documents and financial reports.
You will support internal and external audits by providing documentation, analysis, and corrective action support.
You will perform MILSTRIP requisitioning reviews, ensure accurate submission, tracking, funds validation, and resolution of discrepancies in accordance with NMCPAC CWD policy.
