GS-12: To be eligible at the GS-12 grade level, you must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in Federal service. Specialized Experience: Specialized experience is defined as applying a basic foundation of administrative concepts, principles and practices, and skill in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative and support operations. Examples of such experience are: analyzing office procedures to ensure they meet organizational needs; analyzing and evaluating data and information for reporting purposes; communicating with management, other agencies and external organizations to resolve issues; developing and implementing operating procedures; compiling, analyzing, and preparing data for standardized and specialize reports on a bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly bases, or as requested
If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for performing analysis of district functions, reporting, measurement and improvement; providing technical guidance and assistance to senior USAO executive staff on the full range of district activities; and tracking program activities and suspense deadlines within the district. Typical work assignments will include: Collaborates with managers and staff throughout the USAO to plan, coordinate and execute administrative changes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Identifies support services functions and related issues in need of study, selects analytical methods, conducts investigations, and prepares option papers to present findings. Provides guidance to USAO on preparing personnel request, tracking action, and compliance with HR policy Manages recruitment and classification to include preparing vacancy announcement packages Collaborates with HR and Budget Staff to develop recruitment strategies, targeted hiring actions, retention initiatives, and budget needs. Promotes and coordinates effective records management programs with USAO managers and employees by providing guidance and training. Works with EOUSA facilities and security offices to resolves concerns, maintain compliance with agency policies, and promote a safe and productive workplace. Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
