You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Undersea Systems Sustainment Engineering Department of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA. The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), knowledge of Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements, and a general knowledge of submarines and submarine systems. Examples of qualifying expereince include knowledge of Submarine Systems logistics engineering and supportability procedures, knowledge of Navy supply system procedures for legacy and new systems; the ability to plan, organize, delegate work, and analyze logistical problems; the ability to manage large logistics projects including planning, budgeting, and performance tracking. Ability to prepare and make oral and written presentations. You will serve as a senior technical representative for logistics to the assigned program offices.
You will be a Configuration Management task lead and Subject Matter Expert for various projects designated by the Program Manager or Project Manager.
You will be responsible for logistics element leadership, oversight and direction for assigned work.
You will directly support the pertinent Project Manager to establish project requirements, deliverables, cost, and schedules to meet mission requirements.
You will track funding status across designated projects for technical execution as established in project plans.
You will be responsible for managing workload/funding requirements and technical management for assigned projects.
