Job Description:
You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST (MATERIAL) in the Supply & Logistics Department, Compliance and Strategic Analysis of PSNS and IMF. Salary Range: GS-11: $89,935 - $109,122 GS-12: $100,602 - 130,786
For GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing material processes by conducting studies to identify and/or improve program inefficiencies. For GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing, planning and conducting material management studies by analyzing material management functions to identify and improve program inefficiencies. You will analyze and review documentation procedures and controls, files, directives, forms, records control and office automation.
You will develop statistical and narrative data to justify work unit reorganization or position restructuring as a more productive or efficient use of personnel resources.
You will review directives from higher authority and advises on potential impact on the Shipyard.
You will seek out and develop new tools for personnel working within the Material System to improve and economize their work processes.
