Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DP-3 grade level or pay band (GS-11) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying knowledge of electronics and the electromagnetic spectrum; 2) Executing tailored system engineering processes, managing requirements, identifying technical risks, and applying Model Based Systems Engineering best practices; 3) Understanding of the components of Electronic Warfare (EW), including Electronic Attack (EA), Electronic Support (ES), and Electronic Protection (EP); 4) Demonstrating knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) or Digital Signal Processing, radar transmitters/jammers and receivers with analog and digital signal processing and radio frequency components. You will apply engineering, mathematics, scientific skills around various subject areas to support the development, integration, test, field/deployment and sustainment of integrated EW systems/suites on airborne platforms.
You will use electromagnetic, optical and acoustic techniques and systems.
You will apply knowledge of electronics and the electromagnetic spectrum.
You will execute tailored system engineering processes, managing requirements, identifying technical risks, and applying model based systems engineering.
You will apply engineering knowledge to work on Radar Systems, Antennas and Electronic Warfare (EW) systems.
