You will serve as a PIPEFITTER in the Production and Resources Department of PSNS and IMF.

You will be performing shop, ship, and submarine pipe work using ships plans, blue prints, and sketches to plan and layout the routing, placement, pitch, elevation, pressure reduction, expansion, and operation of various piping systems and equipment.
You will be making repairs on ships and submarines on steam generated equipment.
You will be installing and maintaining steam supply and return lines, both high and low pressure steam traps, steam reducing valves, and control valves.
You will be responsible for flexible hose inspection, manufacturing, and testing.
You will be deciphering nuclear work procedures and using basic trade knowledge to accomplish repairs on nuclear support systems.
