You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing research to resolve supply errors; taking supply inventory or editing supply requisitions; and utilizing an automated database system or software program to prepare documents or reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-6). Proficiency Required: This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors. Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
Utilize an automated database system for supply requisitioning, property accounting and performing inventories
Maintain the supply of communications electronics equipment and computer hardware and software.
Act as the focal point for supply and property accountability as the principle hand receipt holder.
Requisition, receive, store, issue and dispose of property equipment and supplies.
