Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Researching, interpreting, and carrying out engineering assignments; providing technical input on the planning, design, construction, testing, or maintenance of projects; and collecting and analyzing engineering data to solve problems and develop reports. You will visit construction sites to observe conditions impacting the execution of project design and identify solutions to design technical problems.
You will serve as the sole designer for projects involving complex electrical, foundations/soils, or site problems requiring extensive research or broad application of engineering principles.
You will plan, develop, and or direct development of the electrical engineering design objectives, balancing functional requirements against technically sound and economical alternatives.
You will plan and develop the electrical engineering design aspects for assigned projects; including electrical design schedule and budget.
You will compile and prepare technical, schedule and cost data for use by others.
You will develop and/or direct preparation of technical calculations and design analyses.
