Job Description:
You will serve as a GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST in the SUBMARINE LOGISTICS SUPPORT BRANCH (SUBSAT) (C521) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience validating material utilizing the Submarine Logistic Data Base (SLDB) with customers requisition document ensuring the correct material is being issued and quantity on hand is correct to prevent a warehouse refusal. Experience supporting Depot Level Repairable (DLR) Program inventory management programs including issuing, receipting, monitoring Material Turned-Into Shore (MTIS), carcass tracking, and development of material support requirements. Experience documenting material identification to include military specification (MILSPEC) and vendor specifications, component technical characteristics, and supportability across multiple Consolidated Shipboard Allowance List (COSAL) types to include HMEO&E and SWS. Experience coordinating with NAVSUP Weapons System Support (WSS) Item Managers (IM), and approved supply supported contracted vendors with expediting and reviewing of materials, Trident Load List (TLL), Master Stock Level (MSL), and Reorder Point (RP) to ensure stock posture is correct with the levels, pushed stock, on-hand availability for stock replenishments, and reporting. Experience researching material discrepancies, reporting and tracking material movements for inbound and outbound shipments or deliveries, and screening for Real-Time Residual Asset Management (RRAM) material availability. Experience reconciling discrepancies in requisition status, inventory accountability, Defective Material Summary (DMS) screening accomplished through causative analysis for HMEO&E and Nuclear materials, validates material in SLDB to ensure accuracy. Experience utilizing causative research analysis to track the history of transaction against the material within N-ERP when required. You will monitor delivery and oversee the daily processing of requisitions in the Navy ERP system.
You will conduct transaction monitoring, historical research and technical causative analysis, make recommendations to higher authority on outcomes to include corrective actions, modifications or improvements to work procedures or processes.
You will incorporate and monitor new changes and updates within ERP by creating new Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
You will utilize local procurement instructions, which pertain to the propriety of appropriated funds, special requisitioning procedures and commodity applications.
You will make determinations relative to identifications, substitution, screening and quality assurance of material, providing advice and information to manufacturers and pertinent TRIREFFAC personnel and maintaining technical documentation.
You will determine acceptability of manufacturer substitute items, and the degree to which items are substitutable or interchangeable.
You will make critical decisions based on an intensive knowledge of the material identification, discrepancies, specifications, repair ability of parts and components, their life cycle expectancy, and anticipated usage.
