Job Description:
You will serve as a ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the ENGINEERING AND PLANNING DEPARTMENT of PSNS and IMF.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: ???????developing or modifying technical engineering methods and techniques to package, assemble, and update technical work documents (e.g., shipyard/shop processes and procedures; drawings; work controls; material, equipment, quality assurance documentation) relative to naval vessel repair, alteration, maintenance or overhaul. You will perform ship check of as-built conditions to make engineering design decisions.
You will develop and check Engineering drawings for Navy Modernization.
You will solve complex technical problems via Liaison Action Request.
You will conduct studies of large and complex systems and to define modifications to change the behavior of such systems.
You will analyze, assess, coordinate, and develop tasking for on-site execution of Ship Change Document requirements.
