This position is located in the Internal Real Estate Division, within the Office of Administrative Services (OAS) The incumbent serves as the Director of the Internal Real Estate Division, responsible for providing program oversight and direction for personnel engaged in workplace strategy, portfolio management, interior design, and customer support. We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

The GS-15 salary range starts at $150,359.00 per year. Locality pay will be determined upon selection. Atlanta, GA: $156,451.00-$197,200.00 Chicago, IL: $165,386.00-$197,200.00 Kansas City, MO: $150,359.00- $195,469.00 Philadelphia, PA: $163,023.00-$197,200.00 New York, NY: $174,347.00-$197,200.00 Raleigh, NC: $154,492.00-$197,200.00 Washington, D.C.: $169,279.00-$197,200.00 To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: Directing and overseeing an internal real estate and workplace program. Providing leadership, strategic planning, and program oversight for workplace strategy, portfolio management, space utilization and optimization. Developing and implementing workplace and space management policies and guidance aligned with statutory, regulatory, and agency requirements. Evaluating portfolio performance to meet utilization and occupancy targets. Representing the organization and providing executive-level consultation; coordinating with senior leaders and internal and external stakeholders.
Oversees the preparation and submission of the agency's Capital Plan and requires reporting to OMB and other oversight entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with federal standards. Provides authoritative advice and guidance on emerging trends, best practices, and innovations in workplace strategy and portfolio management. Oversees and ensures the integrity of portfolio data maintained in enterprise systems, directing the use of data for strategic decision-making. Provides leadership, expert assistance and authoritative advice on interpretation of policies, regulations, and laws for division-wide communication, ensuring reporting and messaging effectively convey program goals, outcomes, and value to stakeholders. Serves as the agency's recognized authority and spokesperson on internal real estate matters, providing expert consultation to senior executives, service heads, and office directors.
