You will pass instructions received from the Facilities Manager for immediate tasks and ensure that all supplies, materials and equipment needed to accomplish the task are available.
You will serve as the lead trainer for the assigned operator trainee and Marines assigned to water and wastewater system duties.
You will operate, maintain and repair facilities and equipment in a sequence batch reactor type activated sludge wastewater plant with a design flow if 140,000 gallons per day.
You will plan, schedule and perform work to produce safe and pleasant drinking water and wastewater plant effluent that always meets waste discharge requirements.
You will research and order all parts and supplies required to operate and maintenance of the systems.
You will monitor the various computer screens to ensure correct plant cycling and to verify that operational parameters are correct for current conditions.
