In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. You will serve as the Department's leader in assuring the proper technical rigor and discipline is applied to all workload being executed within the Department.
You will steward department technical capabilities to meet current and future naval, joint force, and national requirements.
You will increase the rigor and discipline in safety, security, quality, and technical performance of workload being executed and the processes used by the Divisions.
You will lead and/or be involved in Root Cause Analysis efforts to assure that the true causes of mishaps, incidents, and/or technical failures are identified, and the proper corrective actions are implemented.
You will review and assess technical documentation to teach personnel how to better prepare their documents.
You will lead department level risk management efforts.
You will work with the Department Chief Strategist to identify areas requiring internal investments and recommend, as appropriate, capabilities to develop and divest.
