Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-02 (GS-11 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer providing technical oversight planning, managing and coordinating various engineering development programs/projects that involve continuous systems modification, system requirement evaluation, and system performance analysis. You will serve as the Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for one or more of the elements of the AEGIS Weapon System (AWS) such as AEGIS Computing Infrastructure (ACI), AEGIS Display Systems (ADS), Command and Decision and Mission Planner (MP).
You will participate in the development of defect backlog lists for all In-Service and Maintenance AWS Baselines utilizing AEGIS TECHREP digital engineering and CSEA tools.
You will provide technical interpretation of specifications, methods, processes, tests, and resolution of design problems.
You will participate in all development activities conducted under the Combat System Engineering Agent's (CSEA's) Computer Program Standard (CPS) and System Integrated Engineering Processes (SIEPs).
You will work in conjunction with sponsors to collaborate on efforts being completed at the Forge supporting AWS and Integrated Combat System (ICS).
You will provide technical guidance and assistance to all organizations involved in developing AWS software for all US Navy and Foreign Military Baselines.
You will be using your working knowledge of all AWS elements and its interdependence.
You will work on progressively difficult substantive assignments in the field of lifecycle software development for Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) systems, and those interfacing modules
You will work with the sponsors on requirements, translate those requirements into an actionable work breakdown structure, delegate work items to contractors and government engineers, and organize/deliver finished products that meet sponsor's needs.
