As a Program Manager, you will serve as the Chief of the Electronic Benefit Systems Training Branch and will manage development and delivery of USCIS case management systems training.
The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 02/05/2026. Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. You must have experience performing the following duties: Providing technical and administrative supervision to a team and overseeing staffing actions, logistics, and resource management activities to meet organizational requirements. Overseeing agency-wide technical training program operations including training needs analysis, program evaluation, and stakeholder engagement. Expert knowledge of USCIS case management systems as an end user, training developer, or instructor. Organizational Location: This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, within Training and Career Development Division and are assigned based on the need of the agency.
Supervises and manages subordinate supervisors and staff, overseeing all aspects of case management systems training for USCIS adjudications personnel and federal partners.
Supervises and evaluates the effectiveness of subordinate supervisors and staff to ensure that case management systems training meets evolving agency needs.
Provides technical guidance and administrative oversight for the planning, execution, and evaluation of training programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Serves as a key advisor and collaborates with senior managers, program officials, and stakeholders to define training requirements, develop strategies, and communicate project progress, findings, and recommendations.
Fosters a team culture of innovation and customer experience, encouraging the adoption of emerging training technologies and strategies to employ the most effective adult learning practices from industry and fellow government agencies.
Manages and advocates for resources and leads efforts to improve branch effectiveness and efficiency.
