In addition to the basic education requirement your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Professional engineering experience managing the full lifecycle of reentry system test and flight-test programs, including requirements, budgets, and contracts with government and industry partners. You will manage the entire lifecycle of advanced flight systems, from planning and design to production, integration, and testing.
You will collaborate with government partners and the United States Air Force to define project requirements, plans, and budgets.
You will develop requirements and budgets for science and technology experiments, manage contracts, and coordinate diverse government and contractor teams.
You will act as a key advisor to senior leadership and high-level working groups on technical matters for advanced systems.
You will lead progress reviews with stakeholders and evaluate advanced science and technologies like aerodynamics and flight systems design.
