We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Youth Apprentice to join our Prototyping team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic engineering environment, supporting the development of prototypes and first of its kind components. The apprentice will work closely with experienced technicians and contribute to real-world projects using a variety of tools and techniques. 
Key Responsibilities 
Operate manual machining equipment including lathes, mills, drill press and bandsaws Safely use welders, table saws, and construction hand tools Assist in the fabrication and assembly of prototype parts Apply problem-solving skills to support design and build challenges Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment Use measuring tools such as tape measures, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators and height gauges Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols Participate in continuous learning and skill development under mentorship Opportunity to expand skillset into more advanced tools  After mastering core fundamentals, there is opportunity to operate CNC mills and lathes, gaining hands-on experience with advanced machining technologies and digital manufacturing
