This position is located at Remington Park but may fill other vacancies in the Business Recreation Division. Join our team at the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) at Fort Drum. We are dedicated to enhancing the lives of Soldiers and their Families by providing essential support services and recreational activities that directly contribute to Soldier readiness and well-being. A qualified candidate must possess the following: work experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the following duties: securing a facility, AND issuing equipment to customers, AND collecting fees (example: registration for trip, payment of rented equipment, etc.), AND monitoring inventory (example: supplies, equipment, etc.) possess a valid driver's license (must be uploaded with application). Manages daily facility operations, including opening and closing procedures, security checks, and arranging furniture and equipment to prepare for scheduled events and patron activities.
Oversees the issuance and receipt of recreational equipment, handling fee collection, cash safeguarding, and making daily bank deposits while ensuring patrons understand proper equipment use.
Performs routine cleaning and self-help maintenance on all equipment and facilities, polices indoor and outdoor areas, and prepares work orders for repairs that require advanced maintenance.
Monitors and controls inventory by preparing supply requirement lists, coordinating with program staff for equipment availability, and inspecting returned items for damage to remove unserviceable equipment from use.
