The Arts and Crafts Center provides a wide variety of services to the base. We host a variety of arts and craft classes for children and adults, to include our "Paint and Sip" nights. Our facility offers crafts made by local crafters like painted Alaska themed wooden bears, saws, Alaska themed items along with crocheted items, and moose shaped planters. This position is in the Arts & Crafts Center of the 354th Force Support Squadron at Eielson AFB. The incumbent is responsible for assisting other recreation assistants in the operation and maintenance of the Arts & Crafts Center. Provide quality customer service, answers customers' questions and assists with product selection. Takes registrations for skills development classes, operates register; collects, safeguards, reconciles, and deposits monies received from customers. Performs basic housekeeping duties in and around the center. Provides simple instructions to children and adult craft classes. Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
