Competitive Compensation: $27.77 per hour, plus $1.50 shift differential 
Shift: 3rd Shift: 9:00PM – 5:18AM plus overtime 
Occasional mandatory overtime may be required as needed

We are looking for an Iron Melt Operator to join our Cast Iron division. We offer a diverse array of growth opportunities within our manufacturing divisions. This position will be based at our Kohler, Wisconsin location. We specialize in manufacturing high-quality cast iron products. 
 
Crafting Excellence: Your Responsibilities 
 
Slagging, charging, tapping and taking CE samples & temperatures of Channel furnaces as directed by Control Technician.  
Use of pneumatic chipping hammer, use masonry/brick saw, will perform ladle patch/rebuild with misc. refractories, perform  
Melt baghouse bag change out, perform  
Auto-pour furnace chip/patch, perform melt furnace chip/patch, melt furnace knockout and reline as needed, yard crane, HMC and preheat operations 
Scrap load check-in 
Fork lift certification is required, etc. PPE requirements are, but not limited to: 3.0 tinted safety glasses, slip off safety shoes with metatarsal guards, respirator, coveralls, etc.  
Schedule reflects production lines.
