Specific
Responsibilities
Support Transformative Innovation projects from concept through completion, engineering highly innovative products.Collaborate closely with Marketing, Industrial Design, and cross‑functional teams to develop new technologies and solutions that meet customer needs.Own electronics and firmware development for first‑to‑market consumer products, including requirements definition, design, implementation, integration, compliance testing, and deployment—primarily focused on control systems, sensing, and user interfaces.Assess technical feasibility of new products and technologies; create requirements, risk mitigation strategies, test plans, schedule estimates, and cost analyses.Partner with Kohler legal teams to identify, evaluate, generate, and protect intellectual property.Conduct competitive benchmarking and stay informed on industry and technology trends.Communicate technical recommendations clearly and concisely, providing well‑reasoned guidance to stakeholders.
