Job Description:

This position serves as a Logistics Management Officer (Supervisory), located in the Department of Justice, Justice Management Division, Facilities and Administrative Services Staff, Justice Building Services. This position is to oversee planning, operations, and execution of enterprise-level logistics, procurement and contracts, facilities, and support services programs for RFK and other assigned DOJ facilities under JBS responsibility.
To qualify for the position of Logistics Management Officer, at GS-0346-15 you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below. Specialize Experience: For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal Service, which includes: Developing qualitative or quantitative methods for evaluating facility operations programs; In depth experience in facilities and operations management of a large scale federal facility; Developing policies related to facilities operations; and Developing plans, goals, or objectives for long-range implementation of administration programs. The duties and responsibilities for a Logistics Management Officer, GS-0346-15 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Perform full range of human resource management functions relative to the staff supervised. Oversee support services work within the administrative framework of Department of Justice facility operations. Responsible for identifying, analyzing, developing, and enhancing operational processes, procedures, and practices that offer efficiencies to facilities operations and acquisition-supported service delivery. Advisor to FASS leadership on the full range of facilities operations, acquisition support, and business management processes. Responsible for managing full range of coordination for work required to support the Robert F. Kennedy (RFK) building operations and facility alterations, improvements, restorations, and occupant support projects. Responsible for all aspects of facilities operations, repairs, maintenance and daily operations in the RFK Building. Oversee strategic planning and organizational performance assessments by participating DOJ-wide acquisition task forces, working groups, and committees as related to facilities operations and building services contracts.
