Job Description:

To be considered for the position, you must meet the following qualification requirements. Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related. Graduate education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. OR Experience: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level. To be creditable, this experience must have equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and must typically be in or related to the position to be filled. Some examples of this qualifying experience are: Experience that demonstrates knowledge of financial management, budget processes and planning, and contracting to monitor organizational financial status, identify and resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Experience in conducting studies, fact finding, gathering data and exchanging of information to extract usable information to develop and prepare program reports, narratives, and statistical charts and graphs. Experience utilizing computer software to design reporting formats to include developing formulas to perform calculations, make comparisons, highlight errors, identify trends and make recommendations regarding existing policies and/or procedures. OR Combination of Education and Experience: Have a combination of education and experience. This experience must have equipped you with the qualifications necessary to perform the major duties of this position as described above. If applicable, credit will be given for paid and unpaid experience. To receive proper credit, you must show the actual time (such as the number of hours worked per week) spent in activities. **Your eligibility for consideration will be based on your responses to the questions in the application.**
Reviews and certifies the accuracy and timeliness of all contractual payments submitted by contract community-based providers before submission to FMIS. Conducts training for Community Treatment Coordinators, Reentry Affairs staff, and CTS contractors on areas of policy and billing in accordance with State of Work (SOW). Maintains a financial ledger showing funds allocated and obligated to keep staff informed of availability of funds. Serves as the branch inventory management specialist and maintains accountability for all items for which branch is responsible.
