Opportunity
The Vice President of IT Governance will lead the strategy, execution, and oversight of governance functions across Kohler’s Digital organization. This role is pivotal in driving change leadership and ensuring that technology serves as a strategic enabler of business growth. The VP will establish and mature governance frameworks for data, IT processes, program and portfolio management, M&A integration, organizational change management, and enterprise architecture.
This leader will build high-performing teams, foster cross-functional alignment, and deliver measurable outcomes that strengthen Kohler’s digital foundation and accelerate transformation.
Specific Responsibilities
Data Governance & Master Data Management:
Establish and lead a data governance framework to ensure data quality, integrity, and usability across product, consumer, and customer domains.Assemble and manage a Master Data Management (MDM) team to centralize and standardize data processes.Deliver early wins in improving data health and accessibility for critical business functions.
IT Governance & Process Excellence:
Define and enforce IT governance standards aligned with ITIL and ISO best practices.Implement processes for compliance, risk management, and operational efficiency across Digital.
PMO Governance:
Develop and implement PMO standards for intake, prioritization, tracking, and reporting—moving away from static PowerPoint reporting to dynamic, data-driven dashboards.Drive portfolio visibility and accountability across federated project teams.
Integration Management Office (IMO) for M&A:
Establish an M&A investment model and governance framework for IT integration.Lead IMO processes to ensure seamless technology integration during acquisitions.
Organizational Change Management (OCM) & Training:
Oversee the Office of Change Management to enable adoption of new technologies and processes, including AI-related initiatives.Develop training strategies and leverage internal resources and external consultants to build change readiness.
Enterprise Architecture:
Lead the Enterprise Architecture function to ensure technology decisions align with business strategy and future-state architecture.Drive standards for application, data, and infrastructure architecture across the enterprise.
