About the Position: This position serves as a Program Analyst for the Fort Riley Directorate of Public Works department.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Assessing budget impact on proposed plans such as: new missions, functions, and programs; 2) Providing recommendations of required equipment to meet the needs of the organization AND 3). Providing solutions to improve an organization such as: staffing, fund implementation, materials and/or workload. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
Evaluate budgetary input from directorate activities to recommend funding priorities.
Present findings to upper management for changes In procedures within the organization.
Develop multi-year program objectives or requirements for emerging programs of the organization.
Perform analytical and/or evaluative functions related to the execution of established or emerging programs of the organization.
