GS-12: To be eligible at the GS-12 level, you must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in Federal service. Specialized Experience: One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 in Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as performing the following types of duties: developing intelligence; performing quantitative, qualitative, or other analyses of relevant facts; reporting the results of investigations to attorney, auditors, and management; resolving complex investigative problems affecting compliance with laws or regulations; developing investigative work plans; conducting interviews of witnesses, briefings with management before and after an interview, and preparing written interview reports; gathering and analyzing data; preparing investigation reports; and conducting complex investigations and valuations of assets, including public record. Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP)- The ICTAP provides eligible displaced Federal competitive service employees with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies. If selected, you will provide investigative services relating to Civil Fraud investigations and litigation. Responsibilities will become more complex as your training and experience progress. Typical work assignments will include: Identifying, locating, and valuing assets. Researching and examining public records. Routinely performing research in investigations. Preparing investigation reports and other related documents. Locating witnesses, conducting interviews, and preparing interview reports in conjunction with investigations. Developing and implementing investigative strategies. Reviewing, interpreting, compiling, and handling investigative documents. Developing investigative policies, techniques, and procedures.
